There are moments when it feels like life has backed us into a corner. We face hardships, and yes, sometimes life honestly sucks. But just as rain clouds pass, so too do our trials. The sun emerges, shining it’s brilliance on us. A reminder of our resilience, the ability to direct our own path. I understand; gratitude, happiness, and peace can seem elusive when life disappoints. Yet, within us lies an innate capacity to bounce back, even when it feels impossible. Embrace this resilience, for it is our beacon of hope in the darkest of times.

In the game of life

Imagine life as a giant pinball machine, with obstacles and challenges at every turn. The pinball, aimlessly ricocheting off barriers, represents those who relinquish control, allowing circumstances to dictate their trajectory. They bounce from one setback to another, feeling powerless and defeated.

    This article is so timely for all of us. I have chosen to be the paddle several times in my life. In the past, I have been the pinball. Once you have learned to choose The paddle, it gives you so many opportunities to overcome diversity in your life. I love this analogy, it just makes sense.
